Store Floor yard built across Nancarrow Avenue fromCardboard boxes remain stacked on timber shelving beside a large multi pane window in the main store at Awaba Colliery, the grimy glass still admitting enough light to read partial lettering on the packaging. A metal staircase with wooden treads connects this floor to the level above. White plastic sheeting catches a shaft of daylight on the concrete floor below exposed ceiling joists and metal support beams. Part of the Awaba Colliery series.
